Kathryn is Three!

Kathryn got to choose all the activities today. She opened her presents this morning, had some friends over to play and eat lunch. Later, Daddy took her and the older kids out to feed the ducks and play on the playground. She picked out her birthday cake and frosting then helped me make it that afternoon. She choose bean burritos for dinner (a girl after my heart!) and had cake for dessert.

Kittens opened their eyes last week but it was hard to photograph because they blinked every time.

Kittens Grow Fast!

Kittens at 11 days old. The orange one, "Sunny" weighs 5 ounces and is most likely a male. The calico kitten weighs 4 ounces and is most likely a female. She is sick with an upper respiratory infection. They're both on amoxicilan now and are doing better - but the little calico wouldn't eat much for a few days and we were worried she wouldn't make it. They are so close to opening their eyes, we think it will happen before the weekend.
