After the car crash last week the kids were still asking Nathan for a good hour, "Sooo...are we still going camping?" haha, no, just one totaled car per family vacation. ;) They were bummed about not getting to camp so Nathan set the tent up in the back yard for them for a night a couple nights later. He told them to come inside if they needed anything or couldn't sleep. We went to bed. In the morning, he went back out and found out the zipper was stuck and the kids had been trying to come back inside intermittently throughout the night cuz they were too hot/neighbor dogs were barking/thirsty...etc! Whoops! At least they don't want to camp in the back yard anymore :P
Joseph went camping with David last weekend, and it was a success! Aka, he slept in the tent all night and they didn't have any problems, except for getting lost on the way there.

That's a good idea! We've been wanting to take the boys camping but it would be helpful to have a practice. Looks like your clan had fun!
Awesome! I loved camping in the backyard as a kid. :)

Father-Sons campouts = awesome. At least for the girls who get to stay home and party!
